About Us

The team has drawn players from both roller and ice backgrounds, boasting veterans and rookies, forming a squad that places a heavy emphasis on enjoying the fastest team sport on earth. As one of the newest clubs in Cardiff, it is enjoying the boom in the popularity of the sport, in the Welsh capital and cutting its teeth, in its ice apprenticeship, competing in the Southern Conference, Cardiff Rec Hockey League and the Devils Community Foundation (DCF) Summer Cup.

Join the Hounds

Cardiff Ice Hounds are happy to accept applications from prospective players.  We have a strict policy on NO Dual Registration, but if you’re interested in committing to the Hounds, either get in touch through our Contact Us page, or come down and meet us.  We train on Monday nights, from 9:45pm to 10:45pm.

Play the Hounds

Cardiff Ice Hounds are always looking to arrange home and away fixtures and welcomes enquiries from other clubs.Whilst the team traditionally plays a checking game, we’re happy to play teams non-checking too.If you interested in playing the Hounds, you contact us through our Contact Us page.
